Getting to Guy’s:

Guy’s Campus is found on the edge of Zone 1, just a few minutes from London Bridge station.

This station is one of the key transport hubs in London, and can be reached via the Jubilee Line (the grey one) and the Bank branch of the Northern Line (the black one).

The station also has many bus routes that will stop there, so you’ll never find yourself without options.

After arriving at London Bridge station, follow the signs for the Shard viewing platform exit. Once you’re here you’re just a hop, skip and a jump from the campus. Take care as you cross the road, and follow the signs pointing the way to King’s College London down Joiner Street. You should be there in under a minute! If you need a guide on using the Tube network to get there, check out the TFL Route Planner.

If you fancy walking to campus, find The Shard on the London skyline and head in that direction.

What to bring

You will need to bring lunch and a drink with you on the day. It is also recommended that you bring a pen and notepad for any notes you wish to make.

What to expect

When you arrive please report to the steps at the Hodgkin Building 15 minutes before the course start time. The group will then be escorted into the building where you can store your bags and will be briefed for the day.

The structure of the day itself may change slightly from workshop to workshop but will consist of practical demonstrations, observation and handling of various specimens in the Dissection Room under the supervision of a suitably qualified medical professional for the majority of the day.

Unfortunately, food cannot be consumed on-site but there are plenty of restaurants/cafes in the surrounding area with Borough Market just a short walk away.
