Protein Bars - Home-made and easy

Makes 10 bars
Per Bar - Carbs – 14g Protein – 15g Fat – 8.5g
200g/2 Cups Oats (Blended oats work better)
100g/4 Scoops Whey Protein
2tbsp Peanut Butter
Milk
Optional Additional Extras:
Maple Syrup
Honey
Ground Almonds
Orange Essence

Add the dry ingredients to a mixing
bowl and mix
Put the peanut butter and all other wet ingredients in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds
Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir well


Add small amount of milk (approx. 1/3 cup) and mix well using a wooden spoon. Continue to add small amounts of milk until you get the consistency you desire


Line a baking tray (approx. 6”x 12”) with greaseproof paper cut to twice the width of the baking tray
Spoon the mixture into the baking tray and spread out as evenly as possible using the wooden spoon


Fold the greaseproof paper over the mixture and press it flat into the mixture using your hands to spread the mixture evenly into the baking tray

Refrigerate for 1-2 hours

Cut into 10 bars
Use the greaseproof paper to make individual wrappers
